The devil was once walking along with one of his companions. They
saw a man ahead of them pick up something shiny.
“What did he find?” asked the
companion.
“A piece of the truth,” the devil replied.
“Doesn’t it bother you that he found a piece of the truth?”
asked the companion.
“No,” said the devil, “I will see to it that he makes a
religion out of it.”
Truth taken out of context and twisted is the basis for many
false religions.

"We are drifting toward a religion which consciously or
unconsciously has its eye on humanity rather than on God." - Alistair

The Bible says: "Hereby know ye the Spirit of God:
Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And
every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not
of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist..." (1Jn 4:2-3 KJV).
