Baptism is a Gospel ordinance commemorating
the death, burial & resurrection of Christ.
In baptism, public testimony is given to
the effect that the one baptized has been:
-Crucified with Christ (Gal. 2:20).
- Buried with Him (Rom. 6:4).
- Raised with Him to walk in newness of
life (Col. 3:1).

MK 16:16 (NIV): “Whoever believes and is
baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”
“Baptism is the initial step of a faithful
heart.” - Max Lucado.
ACTS 2:38 (CSB): Peter replied, “Repent and
be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of
your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
“After many painful trials, which none can
know, but those who are taught to relinquish a system in which they had been
educated, I settled down in the full persuasion, that the immersion of a
professing believer in Christ is the only Christian baptism.” - Adoniram Judson.
