Two men were out hunting in the northern U.S. Suddenly one yelled & the other looked up to see a grizzly charging them.
The first started to frantically put on his
tennis shoes & his friend anxiously asked, “What are you doing? Don’t you
know you can’t outrun a grizzly bear?”
“I don’t have to outrun a grizzly. I just
have to outrun you!”
Aren’t you glad we don’t have a heavenly
Father with a friendship like that!

Lord Jesus said: “Greater love has no one
than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do
what I command.” (John 15: 13-14 NIV)
“The dearest friend on earth is a mere
shadow compared to Jesus Christ.” - Oswald Chambers.
Js 2: 23 (CEV): “This is what the Scriptures
mean by saying, “Abraham had faith in God, and God was pleased with him.”
That’s how Abraham became God’s friend.”
